Chateau de Come, St Estephe, 2015, Bordeaux, France
Sommelier Wine Awards 2019 Bronze Medal Winner!
Very intense red fruits with a touch of grass and spices on the nose,’ said Janusz Sasiadek of Bottles & Battles, adding: ‘There’s lovely acidity and good length.’
The Chateau de Come shows much extraction on the nose with dark plum and blackcurrant, interlaced with cedar and a touch of mint. Some developed characteristics such as eucalyptus, dried fruit leather and dark berry jam fill the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with refined tannins, filling the mouth with dark berry fruit with quality towards the finish. The balanced acidity leaves the palate with vibrancy and freshness.
