Yves Cuilleron, Cote Rotie, Bonnivieres, 2015, Rhone, France
We have the 2015 in stock but the 2016 is going to be in stock shortly.
The below report was made on the 2016 vintage that I have tasted myself with Yves in London a year ago.
The lieu-dit Bonnivieres placed in the heart of the Cote-Rotie appellation. It's a beautiful hillside exposed East preserving the Syrah's freshness. The 2016 vintage was rewarded by famous wine critics:
La Revue du Vin de France 16/20 points
Jancis Robinson 17,5/20 points
James Suckling 94/100 points
The colour: a deep and intense red
The nose: a little tight, but which reveals notes of spicy black fruits, graphite and some smoky aromas.
The palate: The balance is perfect, the middle of the mouth has a velvety touch, which is characteristic of the vintage and the beauty of the soul that brings mineral freshness to this wine.
Availble to UK customers aged 18 or over.
